Many of you have seen dozens of pictures of our flagship Wood AR-15 Rifle with our wood furniture, including our rosewood and walnut M-LOK Rail Panels.  We thought it was time to show some love to those of us who prefer KEYMOD rails. 

So, we teamed up with Samson Manufacturing to show you how our wood AR-15 rail panels look on a KEYMOD rail that has a very different style than the Fortis M-LOK rail that we first featured on the wood AR.

We would like to give a big shout out to Samson for sending us one of their KEYMOD Evolution Series 15 free float rails. Just like the Fortis rail we had installed, Samson’s Evolution series uses a standard barrel nut, which meant that switching the rails took less then 10 minutes. That’s pretty sweet.

I must also say, that while we have grown accustomed to the look and feel the of Fortis rail, the Evolution (clad in wood rail panels of course) looks great and dare I say feels as good, if not better, in hand? Opinions will vary, but this was my first experience with a “tube” style rail and I must say I understand why people like them.
